AssuredPartners acquires Pittsburgh agency

AssuredPartners announced that it has acquired Tucker, Johnston & Smelzer, Inc. doing business as TJS Insurance Group, based in Pittsburgh.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TJS is a full-service commercial insurance and employee benefits broker with a presence in the Pittsburgh area dating back to 1924. The team of 45 at TJS will continue operations under the leadership of Rich Farrell.

TJS reports approximately $7.0 million in revenues.
