UPMC Health Plan opens sales, service center at Monroeville Mall

UPMC Health Plan service and sales associates are now available to answer individual’s health insurance questions and purchase individual health insurance coverage at a new Monroeville Mall store, near Pittsburgh.

The UPMC Mobile Health Team will provide free wellness screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, bone density and flu shots. Various health providers from UPMC will be available for information, including UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital education, midlife and imaging centers; UPMC CancerCenter; UPMC Center for Engagement and Inclusion; UPMC Sports Medicine; and UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute. UPMC Health Plan health coaches will also be available to provide wellness advice and tips.

“We are happy to invest in the community and offer a more convenient, comfortable and comprehensive experience at this new location,” said Marybeth Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer at UPMC Health Plan.

During mall hours throughout the year, consumers looking for information about the marketplace or those with questions about their health insurance coverage can meet one-on-one with service and sales associates at the store. Individuals with questions about Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Special Needs Plans (SNPs), or simply those who need help finding the right health coverage, can find answers at a UPMC Health Plan Connect Service and Sales Center.

All UPMC Health Plan Connect Service and Sales Centers offer a full complement of health insurance services, including member services for current UPMC Health Plan subscribers. Individuals may also purchase health insurance coverage at the centers.
